The vast majority of addictions in the state of Wyoming are left untreated with addicts never receiving the help they need to recover. Only about 13% of the state’s drug addicted residents ever enroll in a rehabilitation program. Rates of enrollment for alcoholics in Wyoming are slightly lower at about 10%. In the various recovery programs 18% of participants are in recovery for illicit drug dependency, another 38% are recovering from alcohol addiction, and the remaining 44% of patients are recovering from addictions to both alcohol and illegal drugs at the same time.
